Makes the threat seem insurmountable to the audience. Shot/Sequence 2: People are placed erratically throughout the shot, reflecting the chaotic nature of the scene. The wide shot shows the large number of people within the scene who are panicking, showing the audience the civilian perspective of this horrific event and perhaps allowing them to sympathise. Shot/Sequence 3: Double midshot which places Captain America at the forefront, reflecting his status as the leader of the group, he is placed to the left reflecting him as the point of interest due to the rule of thirds, meaning he is the one audiences should focus on.
